June in the UK
Sorry for not blogging for a while.
TSI have taken a few weeks off from the Ski School to get a bit of R and R and are now back on board for all bookings and requests for 2009. If you want to establish contact now for 2009 please do, as we are only a small team, with a few new faces for the coming season, TBC, ( Watch this space!)
Unfortuntely Lisa won’t be returning full time for 2009 as she is now heavily pregnant and due at the start of August. Although she has assured usd that she will be good to work part time and get tim to look after the little one!!!
We managed to squeeze a little break in and went to watch the Moto GP in Barcelona last weekend.
The curcuit is amazing and the Spanish certainly know how to enjoy themselves!!!
Check out some of the photos, Me and Sally are in the crowd somewhere!!!!!
Cheers for now, Mo and Sally.

APRIL 15th 2008
Its mid April and more snow is falling.
On tuesday morning it was snowing big winter flakes and the temperatures still remain cold.
Morzine closed at the weekend, but Les Gets and Avoriaz are still open. Les Gets are planning on closing in inthe next few weeks, and Avoriaz usually stay open into May.
The Snow is still great seemed a shame to close morzine as the conditions were still great. The resort is now really quiet so the slopes are pretty empty.
If you could get a cheapflight for the weekend , i’m sure you woudn’t be dissapointed, and could enjoy the end of seasson snow.
27th of March and it still feels like January!
Well, for the last week we have just had loads of snow, it just hasen’t stopped! It really feels weird that it is nearly the end of March and it feels like the beginning of the season. The snow is just as fluffy and cold as then, not at all like Spring snow! I am pretty sure that this will change in the next few days, but what it does mean is that for those of you who have chosen to come out here late in the season, you will get some great snow and enough of it, I hope that you all enjoy it!
Have a look at some of the pictures that I took today on my phone, hope you like them!
March 21st Snow Fall
Well well well.
I went to bed last night and there were a few clouds in the sky with the promise of snow.
At 7Am this morning when I opened the curtains ,the whole resort had transformed and was white everywhere you could see.
All this snow was forecast , and its still snowing and is due to carry on on and off until well into the latter part of next week. At present there is over a metre forecast and the temperatures are due to stay down so the snow should keep coming.
This is a fantastic top up for easter and will new set us up for the rest of the season.
Check out http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Morzine/6day/top. This has been a pretty reliable forecast, you can see 6 days in advance so it will keep you pretty well up to date.
During the last 2 weeks we have had to make some minor changes for some of our clients bookings. This is something we always try and avoid as we like to keep things as they are originally set out. Unfortunatley this has been un avoidable as one of our instructors has had to finish the season early due to medical reasons. we hope this has not put anyone off booking with us in the future. We worked hard on getting and providing solutions for all that were affected. Please accept our apologies once again.
Have a good Easter weekend,
Thanks,
Mo Duffy,
TSI Director
Mid March in Morzine 2008
After areally cold spell at the start of March the temperature went up and down again.
During this week it has been really cold with snow flurries and possibly the windiest day we have ever seen in over 7 Years. However Morzine always seems to battle on and keep everthing open that they possibly can.
Towards the end of this week the temperatures rose a bit again, as it seems most of the French alps in a 3 hr radius are having similar weather patterns.
After the last few days of Sun, the weather is due to change yet again, and more sonw is forecast.
TSI Are proud to Keep Helly Hansen sponsors for Next Year, and arew in the Process of sorting out uniforms for 2008/09. As All Manufacurers change their colours every year it looks like team colours might be a bit different to 2007 /08 colours, watch This Space!!!!!
Cheers for now,
Mo Duffy,
Director TSI
Winter again in Morzine
As Morzine was looking a bit sorry for itself last week due to a huge temeperature rise and a bit of rain, it almost changed seasons over night on tuesday. As the forecast predicted the temperature fell and snow came back into the resort.
It transformed the resort withih 24 hours and its still freezing cold which is great for the snow.
More snow is predicted for the start of next week, so fingers crossed.
February Half Term
Sorry for not updating the blog for a few weeks.
As normal we have just got got through the bulk of February half term. It was a pretty busy two weeks but it was very suprising how the queues and Pistes were not jam packed.
The snow here is holding up well as we haven’t had much in the last 3 weeks. Although there is snow forcast next saturday so fingers crossed. There’s no snow in Morzine town but all the runs down to morzine are complete and still in good condition. Getting a bit slushy in the afternoon, but the temperature is due to drop during next week.
Fantastic Conditions in the Portes Du Soleil
Hi everyone, I just had a fantastic days skiing fresh tracks with my group in Avoriaz and Les Crossets, the snow just can’t get any better!!! See below some pictures of today, I hope that you like them!
February is off to a good start, fresh snow for all!
Morzine/Les Gets has just had another fresh snowfall with more forecast tomorrow. The snow is in fantastic conditions at the moment, so we really can’t complain.
Below are some photos taken today in the Morzine Beginner area, I was also skiing in Les Gets this afternoon where there was a lot of bumps and soft fresh snow, lovely!
